Vilvoorde, July 2022 – AP Germany GmbH (below as AP Germany) announced partnership with Smart Construction, a Komatsu technology venture specialized in digital transformation of earthmoving.
AP Germany is known in the market for their high-quality 3D services such as machine control, surveying technology and AP grading boxes. At this moment we mainly focus on selling and supporting Topcon aftermarket systems. However, we believe that more and more OEMs will deliver these systems factory-fit and this business will changeover time. That is why we are expanding our consulting and support services for our customers,” states Marc Landwehr, director of AP Germany. “Smart Construction offers the perfect solutions for mixed fleet. As a non-Komatsu distributor, we believe this partnership is a positive evolution towards offering solutions and services to the whole market.”
AP Germany is the second Smart Construction partner in Germany after Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH. “With an increased geographical coverage, we will be able to stand closer to the local customers and offer support and consultancy on a more advanced level. Together with our partners, we can actually put our boots on the ground, experience customer jobsites and better identify pain points that the local customers encounter in their daily operations.
